Jeff Bennett

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Bennett brings 14 years of security industry experience to Allgress. In addition to founding Allgress, Mr. Bennett was the executive vice president of training at FishNet Security, where he oversaw the entire training department.

Prior to FishNet Security, Mr. Bennett co-founded SiegeWorks, LLC and served as CEO of the company where he oversaw the organic growth of the company, which ultimately led to its successful acquisition by FishNet. Prior to SiegeWorks, Mr. Bennett held the executive vice president position at SiegeSecure, Inc.

Mr. Bennett holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University at Hayward.

 

Gordon Shevlin

President

Gordon Shevlin brings to Allgress more than 25 years of technical, sales, marketing, and management experience in the technology sector. In addition to founding Allgress, Mr. Shevlin is the executive vice president at FishNet Security. Prior to FishNet Security, Mr. Shevlin was part-owner of SiegeWorks and served as EVP of Sales. During his tenure at SiegeWorks, he grew the company from three to 120 employees, built a West Coast and international presence and led its successful acquisition by FishNet.

 Mr. Shevlin has served multiple roles with the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), including as President and Vice President of the Silicon Valley Chapter, and as CFO of ISSA International, serving on the board for three consecutive terms. With his breadth of knowledge of the security industry, Mr. Shevlin has been invited to serve on the advisory boards of 12 of the leading information security companies.

 

Mike Stager

Chief Operating Officer

Mike Stager brings to Allgress more than 18 years of leadership experience in the information security industry.  Mr. Stager has held several positions over the years, including purchasing manager, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice President of Sales. In addition to founding Allgress, Mr. Stager co-founded Siegeworks and, as COO, was integral to the success of the company until the successful acquisition of Siegeworks by Fishnet Security. With Fishnet Security, Mr. Stager held the position of EVP of Sales.

 

William Tang

Chief Technology Officer

William Tang combines information security operations experience, technical skills and broad management experience to deliver innovative security solutions to Fortune 500 companies.

With over 11 years in the field of information technology and security, Mr. Tang has experience in the financial, entertainment, defense, and electric utility industries. As a subject matter expert, he is often called upon to brief executive management and industry leaders on information security strategy.

Mr. Tang obtained his MBA at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. He holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Programming from the University of California at San Diego, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

 

Philip Kong

Vice President of Professional Services

Philip Kong has over 15 years of business analysis, information technology, security consulting, IT auditing, IT risk assessments, project management, and application/product development experience.

Prior to joining Allgress, Mr. Kong was the National IT Audit Manager with Health Net, Inc., a Senior Consultant with Deloitte and Touche LLP, an application development manager with Carparts.com, and a Business Analyst with PacifiCare Health System. Mr. Kong's industry experience includes Energy/Power Generation/Power Distribution, Aerospace/Defense, Education, Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Entertainment, Real Estate, and Finance.

Mr. Kong earned his MBA from UC Irvine, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and holds certifications from JD Edwards and Internet Security Systems.

 

Jon Randall

Vice President of Software Development

Jon Randall brings more than 25 years of software development and management experience to Allgress.

 Prior to Allgress, Mr. Randall served as the Director of Engineering at Everdream, where he directed development of the company's next-generation SaaS remote desktop management platform and e-commerce Web site, and managed the corporate security audit prior to the company's acquisition by Dell. Prior to Everdream, Mr. Randall served as a Scientific Fellow and Manager of Software Development for Bio-Rad Laboratories, where he led the development of a suite of software applications for image analysis, proteomics, and genomics.

Mr. Randall holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
